Before we get into the more detailed discussion about the various guitar course reviews I’ll be posting on this website, I want make it clear that my goal is to help you become a better guitar player with the advice I share on this website. The tips I share here are aimed primarily at beginners and intermediate guitarists, although many of the resources I link to have something even for the advanced and professional guitarist.
There should be something for you here if you’re looking for guidance on tuning a guitar, learning guitar chords, where to find an online guitar course or guitar tab for your favorite song. Perhaps you want tips on how to buy acoustic or electric guitars, advice on guitar theory, pick up a few guitar practice tips or maybe just some really good online guitar resources. Whatever your guitaring goals, this is the right place to start.
As this site grows, I want to make it the first place that people think of when they look online for help with learning guitar.
At the moment, I am in the process of purchasing the top online guitar courses currently available. I’ll take each one for a test drive and then report back with my reviews.
So far, I have bought Jamorama, which is a really great course for beginner guitarists and offers a combination of written material and video lessons, plus a number of bonuses that help to make learning more fun.
Once I’ve finished trying it out, I’ll update this post with my thoughts, then it will be on to the next course, and so on.
So far I have the following courses on my list to review. Let me know if you want me to add others…
- Guitar Tricks
- Jamorama
- Learn and Master Guitar
- Rockstar Academy
- Jamplay
- Beginner Guitar System
Keep checking back to this page and you can follow along with my progress. Don’t forget to leave your own thoughts in the comments section below.
Bye for now, and keep on rockin’.
